This small, innocent Web page is in devotion to a TV show with entertainment, drama, action, mystery, intrigue and a bit of science fiction - Crime Traveller. Sadly, the BBC cancelled the show after just one series due to unstable ratings. This was very unfortunate as there was great potential for development. It remains one of my favourite sci-fi programmes of all time.

Writer and creator Anthony Horowitz had this to say, "Crime Traveller is meant to be fun and entertaining. I have always been fascinated by puzzles, riddles and 'whodunits' and time travel adds that extra dimension to enable the crime to be solved."

THE CONCEPT:
The stories revolve around a detective named Jeff Slade (Michael French) and forensic expert Holly Turner (Chloë Annett) who's father, an expert in quantum physics, invented a time machine that now belongs to Holly. Jeff persuades her to use the time machine to solve crimes.

However, it will only go back in time a few days at the most, and once in the past, it is impossible to change the course of history (what has happened, will happen). Turner and Slade must not meet themselves in the past because if they do, a disastrous schism will occur. In addition, if they don't arrive back at the machine before the point in time that they crime travelled, they will be caught in infinity, forever. Turner and Slade also try very hard to not reveal the fact that they time travel to anyone else, including fellow police officers.

Therefore, the episodes often contain rather complex plots, but are not so perplexing that they'll have you completely confused. It is in fact all rather enjoyable, and will keep you guessing right up to the end.
