Frank Skinner became the new host of
Room 101 in 2012, continuing the legacy from previous hosts Nick Hancock and Paul Merton. In the newly revised format of the show, three celebrity contestants battle it out to get their pet hates forever banished into Room 101.
There are a number of rounds and each round has a category. At the end of the round Frank Skinner makes the final decision on which celebrity will get their chosen subject sent to Room 101. At the end of the game the "most persuasive" contestant is allowed to send in an additional item unchallenged.

Frank Skinner's Opinionated
|
2010 - 2011
|
Frank Skinner’s Opinionated was the first TV show Frank hosted in five years after famously leaving TV to focus on his live stand-up. The format was not unlike
Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned, but instead of David Baddiel, Skinner was joined by two different comedians each week who chatted with the audience about a variety of subjects, some topical, some not.
The show traveled the country and was referred to as a comedy version of
Question Time, but with plush sofas and a relaxed atmosphere, it was actually a lot less formal than its political counterpart.

Shane was Frank's second sitcom in which he both wrote and starred in the show. The programme ran for a single seven episode series in 2004.
Frank played Shane, a 'wise-cracking and politically unreconstructed minicab driver'. The episodes revolved around Shane as he struggled to cope with a changing family and a job that he hated. A second series was filmed but never shown on TV.

Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned
|
2000 - 2005
|
Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned reunited Frank Skinner and David Baddiel on television once again. The show began as a concept at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before becoming a full blown TV series on ITV.
The idea was very simple – two men, one sofa, no script. The duo would field random questions from a studio audience, and then discuss them in comedic fashion. A 'secretary' would be chosen from the audience, who would then make notes from the discussions on a white board. The show ran for five series between 2000 and 2005.

Blue Heaven was Frank Skinner's first sitcom – written and starring himself. Based on a pilot first aired in 1992,
Blue Heaven was then developed into a six episode series which aired in 1994 on Channel 4.
The stories were semi-autobiographical, based on a Birmingham keyboard and vocal duo called
Blue Heaven who were struggling to make it big. The show starred Frank Skinner as Frank and Conleth Hill as Roache. The programme was never commissioned for a second series.
All six episodes of Blue Heaven are now available to watch for free on the 4oD Comedy channel on YouTube. Click here for the episode index.
